Pipe Bands Australia wishes all Australian bands and soloists the very best as they take to overseas stages, complete their performances and prepare for upcoming events.
We’re proud to see Australian piping and drumming represented around the world, with several bands heading to Glasgow for the 2026 World Pipe Band Championships:
- Hawthorn Pipe Band (Victoria)
- Governor Macquarie Memorial Pipe Band (New South Wales)
- Pipe Band Club (New South Wales)
We also congratulate the 5th/ 6th Battalion, Royal Victoria Regiment Pipes & Drums, who have just completed their performances at the 2026 Basel Tattoo in Switzerland.
Good luck to the Riverina Highlanders as they prepare to depart for the 2026 Belfast International Tattoo in Northern Ireland.
We also acknowledge the soloists from every Australian state currently overseas competing or performing as part of the Pipes and Drums at the 2026 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the 55th Festival Interceltique de Lorient, or as far afield as the Musikfest der Bundeswehr in Düsseldorf.
To everyone currently performing abroad, those who have recently returned and those preparing to head overseas: we wish you safe travels, memorable performances and every success.
