Members are advised that Pipe Bands Australia is currently undertaking a staged transition to our new membership and administration platform. This change is designed to provide members and bands with a more modern, secure, and connected experience, including improved access to membership records, enhanced renewals and registrations, better communication, and greater self-service options for managing personal and band information.
As part of this process, some members and band representatives may begin receiving automated emails relating to membership details, account access, renewals, registrations, or profile information. We understand that, as these emails may come from a system you are not yet familiar with, some members may question their legitimacy.
Please be assured that these emails are genuine and authorised by Pipe Bands Australia as part of our gradual transition to the new platform.
This transition involves the migration of membership records from long-standing legacy systems into a modern national platform. As a result, members may occasionally notice incomplete information, minor inaccuracies, duplicate records, or other “teething issues” as data is progressively reviewed, refined, and consolidated. We ask for your patience and understanding during this period of transition.
Importantly, member support materials, including guides and self-help resources to assist with account access and profile management, are currently being developed and will be released progressively as the rollout continues.
As a reminder, Pipe Bands Australia will never contact members by text message or email requesting sensitive personal information such as banking details, passwords, or similar confidential information. Members are encouraged to remain vigilant and to contact the Association directly if they are uncertain about any communication(s).
In the interim, if you are unsure whether correspondence is legitimate, experience difficulties accessing your account, or notice information that appears incorrect, you can engage with the migration team directly by contacting membership@pipebandsaustralia.com.au.
