  • Location and practice: The band meets on Tuesday nights in Atherton at the old school hall on the corner of Robert and Mabel Streets.
  • Performances: The band is a regular fixture at community functions throughout the Tablelands, including ANZAC Day, VP Day, local shows, rodeos, and street marches in towns like Atherton, Mareeba, and Malanda. They have also performed at the annual Tablelands Folk Festival and “Sunday in the Park” concerts in Yungaburra.
  • Collaborations and special events: The United Tablelands Pipe Band has collaborated with other regional musical groups, such as the Cairns RSL Pipes and Drums. In 2019, several band members participated in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo held in Sydney.
  • Membership: The band welcomes both new and experienced players and offers tuition to those interested in learning to play the bagpipes or drums.
