The Pipe Bands Australia Winter Piping & Drumming Retreat returns in 2026, bringing together pipers and drummers from across the country for an immersive four-day program of learning, collaboration, and performance.
Designed to support players at every stage of their development, the retreat offers expert tuition across piping, snare, tenor, and bass drumming. From foundational technique through to advanced musical refinement, participants will engage in a structured and supportive environment focused on real improvement.
More than a series of workshops, the retreat provides an opportunity to step away from routine band activity and focus on individual and ensemble growth—while building connections within the broader pipe band community.
