The Australian Solo Piping Championships are conducted bi annually throughout the Pipe Bands Australia branch network.

The inaugural Championship as hosted by the [then] Australian Federation of Pipe Band Associations was held in 1961 and operated annually until 1968 where it changed to the present format.

The Australian Solo Championships return in 2027 in harmony with the Australian Solo Championships to be held at the Knox Grammar School, New South Wales over three spectacular days.
