Three recipients have been named for the 2020 Peter Cook Piping Scholarship awarded annually through a bequest from Peter’s estate and administered jointly by Pipe Bands Australia and the Victorian Highland Pipe Band Association.
The VP 75 – Our Piping Tribute commemorative project of Pipe Bands Australia for the 75th anniversary of the end of World War Two on 15 August has received Federal Government support.
Applications for the 2020 Peter Cook Scholarship to assist in the encouragement and advancement of pipers will close on 30 June. The scholarship was established last year with the bequest from Peter’s estate and is jointly administered by Pipe Bands Australia and Victorian Highland Pipe Band Association.
