{"id":1681,"date":"2026-02-20T16:48:01","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T05:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/tasmania\/2026\/02\/20\/contest-regulations-update-effective-1-march-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-02-21T11:22:36","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T00:22:36","slug":"contest-regulations-update-effective-1-march-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/tasmania\/2026\/02\/20\/contest-regulations-update-effective-1-march-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Contest Regulations \u2013 Update Effective 1 March 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following resolutions passed at the 2025 Pipe Bands Australia Conference, amendments to the Pipe Bands Australia Contest Regulations will come into effect on 1 March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The updated Regulations are now available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/resources\/document-library\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"889\">National Document Library<\/a> to allow bands, adjudicators and contest organisers sufficient time to review and prepare ahead of their commencement date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For clarity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The current version of the Contest Regulations remains in force until 28 February 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The new version will take effect from 1 March 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Members were previously advised of the impending changes following the 2025 Conference.
