{"id":1580,"date":"2025-06-19T10:47:12","date_gmt":"2025-06-18T23:47:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/tasmania\/2025\/06\/19\/examinations-restructured\/"},"modified":"2025-11-02T22:50:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T11:50:12","slug":"examinations-restructured","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/tasmania\/2025\/06\/19\/examinations-restructured\/","title":{"rendered":"Examinations Restructured"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pipe Bands Australia is pleased to announce a restructure of its examination fees, aimed at creating consistency across all states and territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective immediately, examination fees will be standardised nationwide as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Preliminary:<\/strong>&nbsp;$10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Elementary:<\/strong>&nbsp;$20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sub Intermediate<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>(new level introduced)<\/em>: $30<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intermediate:<\/strong>&nbsp;$40<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advanced:<\/strong>&nbsp;$50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To reflect the benefits of membership, a\u00a0<strong>$35 surcharge<\/strong>\u00a0will apply to candidates who are not current members of Pipe Bands Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These changes ensure a fair and transparent fee structure for all participants, while also supporting the ongoing development of a high-quality national syllabus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we&#8217;re making it easier than ever to participate in examinations by launching&nbsp;<strong>online enrolment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested parties can complete and pay for their enrolment via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/college\/enrolments\/\">pipebandsaustralia.com.au\/college<\/a>, streamlining the process and improving access for candidates across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Online enrolments are now available for the Piping and Drumming examinations with Drill &amp; Dress, Rules &amp; Administration and Ensemble &amp; Adjudication coming soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pipe Bands Australia is pleased to announce a restructure of its examination fees, aimed at creating consistency across all states and territories.
