Preparations are already underway for the 2024 Australian Pipe Band Championships to be held in Maryborough Victoria.
Whilst finer details will arrive in due course the Pipe Bands Australia Victoria Branch in harmony with the Maryborough Highland Society are delighted to already share the following key pieces of information.

- The event will be set over one day, April 13, 2024
- The Championships will take place at Princes Park – Maryborough
The Aggregate Contest Shall Include
- Grade 1
- Grade 2
- Grade 3
- Grade 4A
- Grade 4B
- Novice A
- Novice B
- Drum Major Solo Competition
- Open
- Juvenile
The Even will Include:
- A street parade led by the current Australian Drum Major Champion Dominic Andersen Strudwick
- 2x International Adjudicators from Scotland
- The Australian Drum Major Championships
All of which will culminate in post championship event at the Maryborough Highland Society from 5:30pm. This event is scheduled to include impromptu piping and drumming performances on stage.
