DESCRIPTION:Help Shape the Future of Queensland Pipe Bands \nHave your say on the next three years of banding in Queensland. \nPBAQ invites every band to take part in a focused roundtable discussion on the priorities\, services and opportunities that matter most to our community. \nThis is your chance to help influence future planning\, strengthen support for bands\, and build a more connected\, sustainable and active pipe band movement across Queensland. \nWhat we’ll discuss\n\nBand support: what bands need from the National Association and PBAQ.\nMembership growth: recruiting\, retaining and supporting players\, including youth development.\nVolunteers: attracting\, supporting and retaining the people who keep banding running.\nContests: future timing\, locations\, promotion\, rules and participation from 2027 to 2029.\nEducation: training\, certificates and skills development for members and bands.\n2028 Australian Championships: location\, timing and communication priorities.\nJudging: developing and supporting the next generation of adjudicators.\n\nBefore the roundtable\nBand secretaries are asked to share these topics with their members and committees before the event. DESCRIPTION:Ready to Lead: PBA Rules\, Governance and Band Administration Workshop \nPlease Note: this workshop is not exclusive to PBQ members\, it is open to everyone\, nationally. \nStrengthen your confidence\, sharpen your understanding\, and support better administration across the pipe band movement. \nPipe Bands Australia is pleased to offer a free Rules and Administration workshop for PBA officers\, band secretaries\, managers and others involved in branch\, band or contest administration.
